Here are some examples of what are jaggies can be: (To be honest, I dont know What are jaggies before until my teacher explained me what are jaggies are exacly.) And by that we need to avoid something called "jaggies" that can mess up with your smooth Straight lines. Straight lines are easy but when it comes to pixel Art things can change. There are two types of line that you need to manage: Straight line and a curved line. Pixels are just blocks of color, this Is really important to learn how to use pixels so that you can do the kind or type of line you want to make. For me it Is important to grab The same colors and re-use them. This tool allows you to pick a color but only Where the pixels are placed. This Is almost The same thing as the fill can but it allows you to change/swap the color you choose. Its the same thing as the bucket that you use to paint in most drawing programs. It allows you to fill a whole space of pixels with the same color. It allows you to erase/delete the individual pixels. The pen allows you to color individual pixels. The pen Is The main tool that you'll be using which Is some kind of brush. It has the necesary tools you need which I'll explain how to use right now. The program I use to make pixel art Is "Depixelizer", it is a really great app for starters/begginers. Then here we go!    I'm very terrible at explaining so I'll do the best I can.īut first you need to know    :point_down:Ī Sprite Is a graphic desinged to be an animated graphic or a static image, which Is a 2D (two-dimensional) character or object of course. Thats Is why I Made this tutorial to at least try to explain every detail, from top to bottom. They just crop The image and Re-color it and add some hair and boom finished. I totally not recomend you look for a tutorial of "How to make Sonic sprites" on YouTube. Also like I said before I want to make videogames in the future making these Sprites. Making these Sprites or pixel art (whatever you want to call it) Is a skill I picked because I want to try many diferente things than just traditional Art and digital Art. Ive been practicing a lot and Im getting really good at it. I wanted to make Sprites because one day I want to make videogames in the future, especially Sonic games. Many users asked me to teach them and make a tutorial for a very long time and now there you have it. FEATURED!?!? Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it!  :heart:įinally The Time has come! What Is it? Well In this tutorial im going to teach you guys how to make your sonic character as a Sprite!
